How Novelty Cakes Are Made — And Why They Need More Time

That means we are not using pre-made moulds or generic templates — we are sculpting, shaping, and decorating your cake specifically for you. Novelty cakes involve significantly more work than standard designs: fondant modelling, structural engineering to keep multi-tiered or shaped cakes stable, hand-painting details, and assembling elements that all need to come together perfectly.
Because of the level of customisation and craftsmanship involved, novelty cakes typically require 48 hours advance notice to complete and deliver. We recommend ordering at least two days ahead to give us the time needed to create something truly special.
